What type of photo should I upload?

For the best possible finish, we recommend uploading a high-quality, high-resolution photo. Clear, well-lit images with good focus will produce the most beautiful glitter effect.

Where possible, full-length body photos are recommended (especially for people shots), as they allow for better composition and sparkle placement.

Can I upload screenshots or social media photos?

We don’t recommend screenshots or images saved from social media, as they are often compressed and may appear blurry or pixelated when printed.

For the best results, please upload the original image file straight from your phone or camera.

How do I know if my photo is high quality enough?

A simple rule of thumb:

• If your photo looks sharp when zoomed in, it’s usually suitable.

• If it appears blurry or pixelated when zoomed, it may not print well.

Most photos taken on modern smartphones or professional cameras are perfect for printing.

Is there a recommended file size?

Yes 

• Minimum recommended file size: 2–3 MB

• Ideal file size: 4 MB or larger

Larger files usually contain more detail, which results in a cleaner print and better sparkle finish.

What image sizes work best for each print size?

For a crisp, professional result, we recommend the following minimum image dimensions:

• 6 × 4 → 1200 × 1800 pixels

• 5 × 7 → 1500 × 2100 pixels

• 8 × 10 → 2400 × 3000 pixels

• A4 → 2480 × 3508 pixels

• A3 → 3508 × 4961 pixels

What if I’m not sure my photo is suitable?

No stress at all. Every image is checked before printing. If your photo isn’t suitable, we’ll contact you to request an alternative before proceeding.

How to check your photo quality

If you’re unsure whether your photo is high enough quality, here’s a quick guide:

On iPhone:

1. Open the photo in your Photos app

2. Swipe up on the image

3. Look for Dimensions (pixels) and File Size (MB)

On Android:

1. Open the photo

2. Tap the ℹ️ info icon

3. Check Dimensions and File Size

On a computer:
Right-click the image → Get Info or Properties
